Exams and Assessment
Depending on what course you are undertaking, there may be a practical assessment, a theory assessment, or a combination. The theory assessment may be a hard copy assessment, or online. All assessments require a 100% grading. You will have 2 attempts at the assessment. Plagiarism or copying may result in your assessment being cancelled.
Payment Terms
Once a course has been booked the student or company making the booking will receive a confirmation and an invoice. Payment terms are 14 days from the date of invoice unless specified otherwise. Course certificates cannot be issued until payment has been received in full.
Student Appeals Procedure
If you feel that the result of your assessment is unfair or inaccurate, please raise this in the first instance with your tutor. If you are still dissatisfied with the outcome, your assessment will be reassigned to another tutor for grading. Should the matter remain unresolved, it may be referred to an independent third party for a final decision.

See our Student Appeals Policy here.
Student Complaints Precedure
If you wish to make a formal complaint, first talk directly to the person or persons concerned. If the problem is not resolved, discuss it with a staff member you feel comfortable with. Ensure that the complaint is in writing and keep a copy for your own records. It is important to create a written record of your complaint or grievance. If you are unable to find a solution, the next step is to ask the Directors to consider it. If a discussion with the Directors does not find an acceptable solution, you may then refer the problem to an external organisation such as the New Zealand Qualifications Authority.
